Tell your MP about your child's experiences of looking for work

Too many deaf young people tell us that they are not getting tailored, deaf-specific careers advice at school or college. And many feel that their career options are limited. We also hear lots of stories from deaf young people who find looking for work, or work experience, difficult.

On top of this, the coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on the job market, and created more competition for jobs amongst young people.

It’s time for the Government to do more to support deaf yong people into work. Your MP can help with this. Please tell them how your child is finding looking for work or work experience.

If you want to, you can also ask your MP to meet with you. Hearing from you, or your deaf child, directly will have an even bigger impact on them.

If your MP agrees to a meeting, then please do let us know. We'd be happy to join you in the meeting. And we can organise and pay for communication support, if needed.

Just fill out the form, and we’ll create an email for you to amend and send.

Please note: this campaigner action is for England only.
